Summer is finally here! I’m so excited and pumped for it! Sunshine, late evenings, relaxing and hanging out outside, swimming in the sea, yay! This time I bring you a guide to summer beauty essentials – all the things you need for a fun and safe time. Enjoy!
Vitamin K is a group of fat soluble vitamins. We can distinguish three types – K1 and K2 which are natural and a synthetic form K3. The vitamin is mostly known for helping us absorb calcium for strong bones and ensuring proper blood coagulation. Synthetic K3 also known as menadione can be toxic for humans and damage cells (especially in kidneys and liver) in larger doses. K1 is found in plants (especially leafy greens) and can be converted to K2 by bacterias that reside in our gut. So it’s best to get our vitamins from natural sources.
I recently made quite a few beauty purchases that I loved so so much, so I thought I’d make a beauty favorites post so I can gush about them to you guys! Trying out new stuff is so much fun, but it’s all that much better when you find products you adore! Up ahead an eyeshadow primer, eyeliner, bronzer, lipgloss and lipstick goodness!
Who doesn’t love a good face mask? About two months ago I bought Pure-Clay Mask Detox & Brighten Treatment from L’oreal. It has three pure clays and charcoal, which means some serious detox for the skin! I am a huge fan of clay masks because they make the skin soft and feeling really clean, fresh and matte.
Warm weather and high temperatures are in full swing. It’s time to get out brighter nail polishes. I love me some geometrical shapes on the nails so I decided to make some using white and turquoise polishes. My favorite combo for spring and summer! Read on how to achieve this mani, it’s really easy and fun to do.
I can never say no to gold and brown eyeshadows. This time I went for Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette – Bare and Beautiful, with five amazing colors. Having positive previous experience with their eyeshadows I was so excited to try these! And let me tell you, they did not disappoint!
I love browsing pinterest for new beauty hacks to try out. Sometimes a really small thing can totally up your makeup game. Besides, finding out if something is a total game changer or a complete disaster is fun! I love trying out new stuff and often I’m like “why haven’t I tried this out earlier?!” 😉 Today I come to you with my personal list of 10 beauty hacks that I’ve been using since I can remember and have been my lifesavers countless times. I hope you will find some useful tips here!
Once you find a perfect match you stick to it. Pierre Rene Skin Balance Foundation suits me so well it’s my go-to product and a holy grail. I’ve been using it for the past four years (or maybe even longer, anyway it’s been a looong time!) and I’ve purchased countless bottles. Still I can say with my whole heart that I love it! If you’ve never tried it before, go and buy it, like right now!
As you may know, I have an unhealthy addiction to highlighters. Which is why I thought, hey, why not get another one? You cannot ever have too many of those. This time I went for Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights. I love Makeup Revolution products, especially given their price range, it’s amazing what high quality makeup they offer.
Spring is here, so it’s time to whip up lighter and more lively colors to put on our lips. This is also the time when I love to use lipglosses (during winter I actually barely use them, how about you?). Here is a collection of my best lipsticks for spring time.
