Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin and the main antioxidant present in our bodies. It is a group of compounds that include tocopherols and tocotrienols. It’s probably best known for its free radical fighting properties. We can get this vitamin from natural sources (in which case it works much better), but it is also possible to synthesize it.
I have gathered for you a list of 5 beauty products that I am currently obsessed with. Most of these I have actually bought this month and instantly fell in love! Now, let me present them to you my darlings!
This time I bring you the Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme Detoxifying Hydrator by Peter Thomas Roth. It’s a gentle, refreshing mask in gel form that helps soothe, hydrate and detoxify the skin. It’s meant for pretty much every skin type, to be used whenever our skin is feeling irritated or dehydrated. The product has botanical extracts of cucumber, papaya, chamomile, pineapple, sugar maple, sugarcane, orange, lemon, bilberry, and aloe vera (whew that’s quite a lot of nature in one pot, isn’t it?). The mask doesn’t contain any parabens or sulfates.
Spring is coming, which means that it’s time to change our wardrobe and makeup into more fun, light and colorful shades. That’s why today I come with a list of runway trends for the spring/summer season of 2017. Spring and summer are my absolutely favorite seasons. I have more energy, the sun is bright and optimistic and everything is more colorful. I have looked through the runway shows and am here to present you with makeup trends that have really caught my eye.
Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite mascaras – L’oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture So Black. For the past two months it’s actually been the only one I have been using. I’ve fallen head over heels with this one, guys.
Makeup is something we put on our skin nearly every day. Just as you wouldn’t want to eat a spoiled product, it goes the same with cosmetics. You don’t want to put a product that has expired on your face, right? Because there might be some serious consequences.
This time I wanted to share with you my current nail polish favorites that I’ve been using quite a lot lately. Now that I look at it, there is no method to this madness 😉 I really like switching up the colors, without planning ahead or matching them to my outfits, I just look through my collection and apply what I feel like at the moment. Right now I’m somewhere between winter and spring time in my choices 😉
If you are looking for a new face cream and have sensitive skin this one might be just for you. I bought Iwostin Sensitia Moisturizing Cream with a touch of uncertainty. A big package of 150ml for so cheap? I was intrigued. The cream is intended for sensitive and allergic skin (it doesn’t contain any perfume or dye). Its job is to hydrate, smooth out and regenerate the skin. Its ingredients include grape seed oil to seal in the moisture, shea butter to regenerate the skin and vitamin E to protect against free radicals and irritation.
My quest for finding that perfect red lipstick seemed endless. It always turned out there was just this one little thing that was wrong with it. It was too shiny, the color did not suit me and made me look like a clown, it smudged, it always ended up on my teeth. I think the red lipstick is the hardest one to find, because it’s such a bold color. You just have to feel perfect in it and be ready to rock the world.
Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid. The water-soluble vitamin is essential for our bodies to function well and must be obtained through a diet (as our bodies cannot synthesize it on their own). It is a very well known vitamin, especially for fighting the common cold. However recent research has shown that actually it does not make any difference in the length of the cold when we do catch it. Nonetheless, it does have a lot of other amazing properties to offer.
