Perfect red lip

My quest for finding that perfect red lipstick seemed endless. It always turned out there was just this one little thing that was wrong with it. It was too shiny, the color did not suit me and made me look like a clown, it smudged, it always ended up on my teeth. I think the red lipstick is the hardest one to find, because it’s such a bold color. You just have to feel perfect in it and be ready to rock the world.

Vitamin ABC : Vitamin C

Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid. The water-soluble vitamin is essential for our bodies to function well and must be obtained through a diet (as our bodies cannot synthesize it on their own). It is a very well known vitamin, especially for fighting the common cold. However recent research has shown that actually it does not make any difference in the length of the cold when we do catch it. Nonetheless, it does have a lot of other amazing properties to offer.

Zoeva cocoa blend eyeshadow palette

I’m probably the zillionth person to write about it, but I wanted to share my thoughts and absolute love for the Zoeva’s Cocoa Blend eyeshadow palette. This time I thought I would write about my current wishlist. There are probably way more things that I can add to it, but these are pretty much my must must must haves 😉 I miss spring and summer so much, I’m already excited for them and started thinking about what I need for the upcoming season.

My Highlighters collection

I need to confess something. I have a problem with highlighters. By problem I mean I love them so much that I can’t stop buying them even though there is no way I’m going to use up the ones that I already have in the near future. Oh yes, I love me some highlight. I’m already eyeing up the highlighters in sticks to see what’s all the fuss about. But for now, let me show you my collection!

My current winter skincare

When the temperature reaches way below zero degrees Celsius it’s time to take extra care of our skin. The season doesn’t go easy on us not only with the cold but also with all the layers that we wear, hats and scarves rubbing on our skin. For many of us our skin becomes extremely sensitive and really dehydrated (that’s me!). I’d like to share with you what products I’m currently using for my winter routine.

Mani idea : go sparkly!

What’s the best thing to light up the dull winter time? Sparkle, of course! While the carnival lasts this is the time when we can go overboard with glitter and gleam and no one can judge us for it! That is why this month’s mani inspiration is full of sparkle! I recently got my hands on a bottle of rose gold glitter polish by wet n wild and I just knew I had to use it as soon as possible!

20 Valentine’s day date ideas

Valentine’s day is coming 🙂 I have mixed feelings about this day, because I believe love should be celebrated and expressed every single day and not just on special occasions. However I do think it’s a good excuse for couples to do something different than our usual routine. And on this one day I don’t mind increasing the level of soppiness 😉 That’s why I thought I would share with you guys some ideas what to do on Valentine’s day:

Daily makeup essentials

Today I wanted to show you what my daily makeup essentials consist of. Pretty much everyday I wear simple makeup with winged eyeliner and during fall and winter I tend to add some color to the lips. I love doing makeup, but I do love sleeping more, so I usually rush in the morning so that I’m not late for work 😉 It usually takes me around 15 minutes to get my face to be somewhat presentable. But now, onto the essentials!

Vitamins ABC : Vitamin A

Vitamin A is one of the first known vitamins to humanity – in ancient Greece and Rome its deficiencies were identified as night-blindness (they treated it by making you eat cooked or RAW liver eek!). Vitamin A is fat-soluble and its compounds include the well known retinol and beta-carotene. It is extremely important to our body to keep it well functioning and help us maintain good vision.
