Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow

You have no idea how excited I was to get my hands on this gem – Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow Light-Revealing Sheer Makeup. I’m a die hard fan of their Meteorites Highlighting Powder Pearls (well their names are quite a mouthful, aren’t they?) so getting them in a fluid version was a dream come true 😀 Let’s see how it worked, shall we?

Gals who like light and sheer foundation and some glow. Can be tricky for problematic and oily skins, unless you put something on top of it or mix it with another foundation.

Meteorites Baby Glow is a sheer foundation. It’s job is to reduce any signs of fatigue and show the natural glow of our complexions. I have it in the Light shade (2). It’s advertised as magic of Meteorites powder put into fluid. And can we just talk about how cute the package is? So in short it’s job is to make our faces as smooth and glowy as a baby’s. The formula is indeed sheer, it practically disappears on my skin. A huge quality of this foundation is SPF25. Perhaps I’m tend to apply too much of it on my skin, but I felt the SPF – it was a bit sticky on my skin. However after some time it does sink into the skin and leaves it looking incredibly fresh, like porcelain. It also contains anti-aging Vitamin E. It doesn’t contain parabens or sulfates. Unfortunately it does contain alcohol, so be wary of that. The product is really easy to put on the skin, doesn’t create any patches. You pretty much cannot see you have it on you. It has light wonderful scent as traditional for all Guerlain products. It also stand the heat really well and does not budge or melt off. You can also mix it with other foundations to get that lovely hint of glow while getting much more coverage.

I adore it! It is fantastic for evening out the skin tone (the best one I have tried to far) and it does make you glow without any nasty shine. If I have to quickly get out of the door or do not feel like applying makeup I just put on Guerlain Meteorites Baby Glow and nothing else. I don’t even powder it, and get compliments how well-rested and glowy I look. I can forgive its bit of stickiness (depends how much product you put on, but you do get two in one – light foundation and SPF!), because the effect it gives is spectacular! It’s subtle and no one can see you actually have something on your face. You glow, baby, you just naturally glow! Ah, I think it’s perfect for the summer. The only downside is the price, it’s damn expensive! But I am really glad I bought, I think it was worth every penny!
