DIY vanilla peeling

DIY vanilla peeling

Took me a long time to start doing DIY stuff again. Long time ago I caved in and wanted to try out a hair mask that had banana with it, which I couldn’t then wash out completely for days. It was a complete disaster I tell you! The stuff not only got like permanently stuck in my hair but also made a total mess out of my bathroom. To put it lightly I lost my heart for a little while for these things and well, I was pretty pissed. But I think I finally got over it and decided to start again! Though I think I will hold off on homemade hairmasks a little bit longer, heh. I come to you my dears with a DIY vanilla peeling. Let me tell you, it does smell heavenly.

What you are going to need:

  • ½ cup granulated cane sugar
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • 1-2 tablespoons vanilla flavored sugar or ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix it well and you’re done! It smells amazing and is such a joy to use, especially knowing what is inside it. You can store it in the shower in an airtight container for 1-2 months. I really enjoy using homemade peelings and best of all you can make them with whatever you like. You can also use it as a yummy peeling for the softest lips ever!
