“My lashes are too long” – said no babe ever. A coat of good mascara will transform your look and make your eyes look bigger and your gorgeous face will look more awake and sexy. Today I wanted to share with you my three all-time favorite mascaras that are ride or die for me. So much long pretty lash goodness ahead!
As a warning – I adore mascaras that will lengthen my lashes! I don’t mind extra volume, though it’s really hard to find mascaras that won’t clump my lashes and I tried A LOT. Do you prefer volumizing or lengthening mascaras?
L’Oreal, Volume Million Lashes So Couture So Black Mascara
I wrote about this one here. I heard so much good stuff about this mascara in the internet I had to buy it. And I most definitely did not regret it – it separates, volumizes and extremely lengthens the lashes. I actually did not achieve such length with any other mascara! It holds the curl, does not smudge and makes your eyes appear big and awake. If you have not tried it before girl, you really should, it’s amazing! I dare say it’s actually my number one mascara.
Dior Addict It-Lash Mascara
Another mascara that lengthens and volumizes your lashes. The wand is straight and fairly small so it’s really easy to apply the mascara onto the lashes and not smudge your eye. You have to get used to the wand though, because it’s quite stiff, I did poke myself in the eye with it a few times – hurt like hell so I recommend to be careful!. If you don’t like big brushes that are sometimes hard to use or have quite short lashes I really recommend this one, you will get to every single lash and achieve a really stunning effect! It does not smudge and holds the curl well.
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
It definitely lives up to its promise – your eyelashes will look like you have some falsies on! It wonderfully lengthens the lashes and gives them a bit of volume – but nothing too excessive. I love that with this mascara every single lash is separated and evenly coated. The only small downside with this mascara is an extremely thick wand – you need to learn how to work with it so you don’t get mascara all over your eye or stick it accidentally into your eye (and I do have a huge talent for that – ouch!).
What are your favorite mascaras? Did you try any of these?
