Hada Labo Tokyo Absolute Smoothing & Moisturizing cream

At the beginning of the summer I strolled into a drugstore looking for a good face cream. I found this gem – Hada Labo Tokyo Absolute Smoothing & Moisturizing cream on sale, and thinking of all the hype about asian cosmetics I decided to give it a try. My skin loves everything with hyaluronic acid and this cream promised to have a lot of it!

The package is simple and really nice to the eye. I tested it during travel and nothing leaked or cracked. The cream itself has a light gel consistency and does not have a scent. Little goes a long way with this one and it spreads without much effort.

The cream perfectly moisturizes my skin and in the long term made it really smooth and soft to the touch. It’s quite incredible to see how after using it for past few months how my face looks much more glowy and hydrated. It does not clog the pores and I did not notice any acne caused by it. I have sensitive skin and the cream did not irritate it any bit.

After application the skin feels maybe not sticky but extremely dewy which is a weird feeling for me that I never had with any other cream. That’s probably due to Super Hyaluronic Acid in the formula which is a combination of different types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin even better. It is perfectly fine under makeup – it definitely prevents makeup from drying out my skin too much, but does it also not cause my skin to produce too much sebum and get shiny too fast. For the past month I’ve been using it both for the day and night (before I was using it only for the day) and it was definitely lovely for my skin!

If you’re looking for a cream to really moisturize your skin and make it really soft, you’re not a fan of thick and heavy formulas then this one is for you! I really like it and will definitely repurchase it.
