I can never say no to gold and brown eyeshadows. This time I went for Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette – Bare and Beautiful, with five amazing colors. Having positive previous experience with their eyeshadows I was so excited to try these! And let me tell you, they did not disappoint!
First of all, I love that wet n wild eyeshadow palettes always have pressed into the eyeshadows what part of the eyelid they should go on. I don’t know why, but I think it’s really awesome that they do it, especially if you’re not really experienced with makeup, this is a true gem! The palette comes with two applicators though I never use them, I prefer to use brushes. The package is plastic, but it’s surprisingly sturdy, the palette flew off my vanity a few times and not only is the package whole, but there’s not even a scratch there, which really amazed me 😉
The palette has two matte and three shimmery eyeshadows. As usual with wet n wild the pigmentation is superb! Just one swipe and the color really pops. I love all the colors, they are really versatile. Though if I had to decide I’m really obsessed with the “browbone” eyeshadow, it’s the perfect rose gold shimmer and looks fantastic on the eye. They last really long on the lids with minimal creasing after the whole day. The eyeshadows also contain macadamia oil to moisturize our lids (I have not noticed any difference than when using any other eyeshadows without the oil, but I’ll take their word for it). They’re easy to apply and blend really well.
There are so many gorgeous palettes out there for crazy money, but it’s amazing that wet n wild can produce such good eyeshadows for such a low price. I love their Icon Eyeshadow Palettes and definitely try them out if you haven’t already!
